To mark the 60th proud anniversary of the two oldest Porsche
clubs, the German sports car maker has worked up a treat by offering
custom-made limited edition run of 13 Porsche 911 Club Coupe’s, with each car
sporting the letters “911 Club Coupe” on the door.
The first Porsche
Clubs was founded by seven gentlemen in Westphalia, Germany in 1952, and the
second started by another six gentlemen a few months later. In tribute to the Porsche family color, the
exterior color of the car has been kept Brewster Green. Porsche engineers have
increased the power rating of the 3.8 liter engine to 430hp, a gain of 30hp
over the standard 991 Carrera S.
The new car comes in with a more aerodynamic front bumper and
a spoiler mounted on the rear deck lid. The Porsche 911 Club Coupe Exclusive
will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds. The limited
edition Club Coupe will also be fitted with the PASM option, which will drop it
height by 20 mm.
Porsche will start taking orders for the model on the 16th of
June and the model will be priced at 142,831 Euros (175,580 USD). Among the 13
cars made one is staying with Porsche, so actually only 12 will go out to
customers. The remaining 12 will be
awarded to those who win the allotment lottery. You can sign up on a dedicated
micro site to win the lottery to be able to buy one of them. The sign up is
scheduled until June 16th.
