World’s Most Expensive Cars, Top 5


It is everyone’s dream really to own a luxury car, but not everyone can own the costliest. For most of us, it will remain as a dream for ever. Here is a list of the ten most expensive cars in the world. The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold for $8,700,000 in 1987. However, that car and many alike will not be included in this list because it is not available on the market today. All these cars are still production and all of them are street legal.

1.     Bugatti Veyron Supersport


When it comes to supercars the BUG takes the crown, French engineering marvel on 4 wheels. Even at the very first glance you could actually feel the unique identity and appeal that this vehicle posses. This beautiful beast features a 16-cylinder engine with a total output of 1200 HP. The Super Sport will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and will hit a top speed of 267 mph. The Bugatti Veyron Supersport is priced at $2.6 million.

2.    Ferrari 599XX


Rumored in excess of $2 million, this Italian masterpiece really has an impressive aerodynamic package. Anyone would love the design and looks of this Ferrari.  It was built for in limited numbers for some chosen extra privileged Ferrari owners, who can drive it at exclusive track events. The 599XX Evolution is powered by a 6.0 L Tipo F140C V12 engine, producing an enormous 750 hp at 7200 rpm.  

3.     Zenvo ST1


Denmark has always been known around the world for its cutting edge designers, for the first time "Danish Design” has been applied to a Supercar. The $1.8 million Zenvo ST1.Zenvo ST1 is a real supercar. Its raw power is supplied from a 7 litre V8 engine with both a supercharger and a turbo. The Zenvo ST1 develops 1.104 BHP and accelerates from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds.

4.     Koenigsegg Agera R


The Swedish made Koenigsegg Agera R is a 2 door coupe with a starting MSRP $1.7 million. An additional $270,000 will get you the carbon-fiber version. The 1,115hp, 5.0-liter V8 engine can move from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds

5.     Aston Martin One-77


The name "One-77" says it all: beauty and power in one, limited to 77 units. Aston Martin One-77 is powered by a 7312cc, V12 Petrol Engine. With 750 hp, it is able to travel from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 220 mph. The engine is mated to six-speed automatic transmission. This $1.4 million car superhero comes from United Kingdom.
